On Friday, June 12, Uber One members flocked to Pier 36 in New York City for an exclusive night called The One Party. The event unfolded on the pier’s waterfront stage, billed as a members‑only celebration that would launch the summer of soccer in the United States.

Uber One, the company’s premium subscription service that offers discounts on rides, food and other services, announced that the party was part of a broader effort to promote the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be hosted in the New York‑New Jersey area. The pier—a former industrial dock now repurposed for public events—offered a scenic backdrop for the evening.
