ESPN hosted its tenth annual Super Bowl party (rebranded ESPN THE PARTY) at Basketball City at Pier 36 in NYC. The Party featured live performances by 2014 Grammy Award Nominees Robin Thicke and Kendrick Lamar, along with music by Multiple Grammy Award Winner Jermaine Dupri. Numerous ESPN sportscasters, athletes and entertainers attended.

2012 Volkswagen Beetle Unveiling
This invitation-only media event revealed the new 2012 Volkswagen Beetle. In attendance was local and international press (over 300 attendees), as well as key Volkswagen executives including: Jonathan Browning, Volkswagen USA CEO, Luca de Meo, Head of Global Marketing and Klaus Bischoff, Chief Designer VW Global Brand. Guests enjoyed the sounds of DJ Pete Wentz while food and beverage was served throughout. The New York performance was streamed live, with highlights following on MTV networks around the world.

Pier 36 hosts the Tommy Hilfiger Spring 2016 Fashion Show with models Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid, Hanne Gaby Odiele, Tami Williams, etc.
Princess Beatrice of York, Singer Joe Jonas and models Immy Waterhouse, Suki Waterhouse, Behati Prinsloo and Sofia Richie also attended the event.
